What's a goddess session?
This offering was born in the desert. From the vastness of the landscape and the way the light reflected, to the way the sand glittered, the idea was practically a vision in front of me. This is how this new offering came to be and how it translates to the goddess being YOU!
It was like the universe was screaming at me, verbally and visually at the same time… This moment, was a place I’d wanted to be for years. Probably since I started taking photography seriously. I want to be in a vast, untouched, raw landscape, I wanted to be making the embodiment of dreamy photos (my version) that portray my ideas and thoughts visually. And here I was. It smacked me in the face.
My vision laid out right in front of me, like I had literally plucked it out of a vision. I never knew who it would be in front of me, but Jiordana felt like she was meant to be the person to start it all, because we just do this thing where we level up together every time I capture her essence. I wish I had the words to explain that fully too, but it just is, and I am so openly receptive to it, with full emotion, because it’s such a beautiful feeling to create and feel the alignment of it all deep in your bones.
I captured a goddess type of energy that I never even thought about before. I didn’t know what that meant or what it actually looked like until it was happening; it flipped my stomach upside-down, and took my breath away. I understood it in that moment and how I wanted to embody it, not only within my art, but in myself as a human, in this lifetime, in everything I do.
The moment changed me because I saw the feeling I want to create through my art, but also the physical feeling I wanted to carry through life. It was my meaning of "life imitating art". So how does this serve you?
